What You'll Do
DevOps & Automation
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and configuration.
- Build automation solutions using Python to streamline operations and prevent issues
- Develop and maintain DevOps tools for application deployment, configuration management, and performance monitoring
- Create infrastructure as code and maintain operational standards
- Implement zero-downtime monitoring to achieve 99.999% service availability
Continuous Improvement
- Define engineering excellence and operational maturity standards
- Identify automation opportunities as part of problem management process
- Drive customer service improvements and recommend product enhancements
- Develop operational standard processes for tools and automation development
- Conduct training and prepare reports on customer issues
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work with AI platform developers and infrastructure teams
- Advise engineers on development standards, versioning practices, and source control
- Deliver solutions that accelerate engineering activities through automation
- Share deep domain expertise and best practices across teams
What You Bring
Required Expertise
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles
- Strong Python programming skills for automation and tooling
- Expertise in DevOps practices and continuous integration/deployment
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Proficiency in cloud technologies: Kubernetes, Docker
- Strong Linux fundamentals and system administration
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code
- Test automation and quality assurance practices
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
Technical Skills
- Programming: Python (primary), Shell scripting
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
- Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk
- Version Control: Git, branching strategies
- IaC: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Automation: Python scripts, automation frameworks
