Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Build and maintain backend features using Python + Django (and FastAPI where required).
- Develop REST APIs (Django REST Framework / FastAPI) and integrate them with frontend or third-party services.
- Work with databases (PostgreSQL), including schema design, queries, and migrations.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
- Debug issues, optimize endpoints, and improve performance.
- Assist with deployment tasks (basic Docker/Linux/server concepts are a plus).
- Strong basics of Python (OOP, data structures, functions, error handling).
- Understanding of the Django framework (models, views, URLs, templates/admin basics).
- Familiarity with Django ORM, migrations, and relational databases.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs (HTTP methods, status codes, JSON).
- Comfortable using Git (branching, PRs, basic workflow).
