Python Developer with functional knowledge of Databases

RBL Bank is looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our Banking Technology team and drive the development of scalable backend applications, database automation solutions, and enterprise-grade systems.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of core Python development experience (Mandatory)

• Strong functional knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and Data Warehouses

• Hands-on experience in database automation using Python

• Good understanding of Data Governance frameworks and best practices

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation

• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles

• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services

• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git

• Experience with unit testing and software development best practices

Role Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services supporting banking products and internal systems

• Build scalable APIs and integrate databases and third-party services

• Develop automation solutions for database operations and monitoring

• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams

• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and coding standards
