Python Developer with AWS

Project Description:

The project is in Risk Domain which is supported by the IT team. The platform operates 24/7, supporting teams in Sydney. The platform undergoes constant change as it provides services to a number of business stakeholders.

Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services, which are critical to the Australian and Global economy.

Our team is also responsible to also drive Engineering Governance, Continuous Delivery, and key technological simplification pillars such as Cloud and Payments Event-based architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Scripting using Python.
• Assisting with AWS cloud projects and CI/CD initiatives.
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Managing Source Control System, including branching, integration, and merging techniques using GitHub.
• Maintaining the automation scripts in the CI/CD infrastructure.
• Creating documents related to DevOps.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Software Developer, and should possess strong engineering skills
• Python (Primary Skill)
• AWS EC2, Docker
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy (or equivalents)
• Instrumentation & observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics (Optional)

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Ab Initio ETL Experience
• Java with React
