About The Opportunity
We are hiring an on-site Python Developer to join fast-moving engineering teams building scalable backend services for enterprise and mid-market customers. This role focuses on delivering robust RESTful APIs, data persistence, and containerised services in production environments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI).
- Implement database schemas, queries, and migrations for PostgreSQL-backed applications; optimise for performance and reliability.
- Build, containerise, and deploy services using Docker and collaborate with ops for on-site deployments.
- Write automated unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure high code quality and observability.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend teams to define API contracts, SLAs, and integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD and release processes.
