Location & Workplace
On-site role based in India. We are hiring a hands-on Python Developer to join an engineering team focused on backend services, APIs, and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Python.
- Develop and document RESTful APIs using Django or Flask; ensure API security, versioning and backward compatibility.
- Write efficient SQL and schema designs; optimise queries and data models for PostgreSQL-based systems.
- Containerise applications with Docker and integrate into CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
- Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps to ship features reliablywrite unit/integration tests, monitor services and resolve production issues.
- Apply engineering best practices: code reviews, performance tuning, logging, observability and incident remediation.
