About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python + GenAI Engineer with strong backend engineering expertise and hands-on exposure to modern Generative AI technologies.

The ideal candidate should have deep experience in Python development, FastAPI, asynchronous programming, microservices architecture, and scalable API development, along with practical exposure to GenAI technologies such as Agentic AI, LangChain, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and conversational AI systems.

This role is best suited for engineers who have built production-grade backend systems and have actively worked on AI-powered applications, chatbots, or intelligent automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI
• Build high-performance REST APIs and microservices architectures
• Develop asynchronous and event-driven backend applications
• Create scalable and maintainable AI-integrated backend platforms
• Build and integrate GenAI-powered applications and AI workflows
• Develop conversational AI systems, chatbots, and AI assistants
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
• Integrate LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, and open-source models
• Work on Agentic AI workflows using LangChain and related frameworks
• Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, and latency
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with product, backend, AI, and DevOps teams

Required Skills

Python Backend Development

• Strong Python programming expertise
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming
• Experience with microservices architecture
• REST API development
• Software architecture and design patterns
• Scalable backend application development

Generative AI / LLM

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on GenAI exposure
• Experience with LangChain, Vector Db
• Experience building RAG pipelines
• Exposure to Agentic AI / AI Agents
• LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, open-source models)
• Prompt engineering concepts
• Conversational AI / Chatbot development
• Context and memory handling concepts

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Hands-on AWS cloud exposure
• Understanding of scalable cloud-native applications
• Docker exposure preferred
• CI/CD understanding preferred

Nice to Have

• Conversational AI platform experience
• Voicebot or chatbot implementation exposure
• AI observability exposure
• Multi-agent AI workflow exposure
• Experience with vector databases and semantic retrieval systems
