Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer on a freelance/contract basis to support ongoing development projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, delivering high-quality code, and collaborating with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python
- Build backend services and APIs using frameworks like FastAPI / Flask / Django
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setup
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development
- Strong experience with at least one framework: FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with databases and data modeling
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Experience working in remote/async environments
Good to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with Docker / containerization
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Basic understanding of frontend (React/JS)
