About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to join our dynamic technology team at UST. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions and microservices that power our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, and Flask. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA, to deliver high-quality, efficient, and secure APIs and backend systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the performance, reliability, and scalability of our applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Proficiency in Python programming language with extensive hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, including performance analysis and troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
