Role : Python + Devops

Job Description: DevOps Engineer/SSE

Experience: 3 - 8 Yrs

Mandatory skills: Python, SQL, Shell scripting, UNIX

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications and scripts using Python
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Design and maintain shell scripts (Bash/Korn) for automation and scheduling
• Work extensively in Unix/Linux environments
• Analyse and process large datasets efficiently
• Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Ops)
• Perform performance tuning for SQL queries and scripts
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability
• Maintain technical documentation and SOPs

Technical Skills Required :

• Strong proficiency in Python (data processing, automation, APIs)
• Advanced SQL skills (joins, subqueries, performance tuning)
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux commands and utilities
• Hands-on experience with Shell scripting (bash/ksh)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Sybase etc.)
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with job schedulers (cron)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge on Java Spring boot and React would be added advantage.
