Role: Python Developer – Storage

Location: India – Remote

Type: Contract

Duration: 18 Months

POSITION OVERVIEW

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Python Developer – Storage to support a large-scale 26-person project. The role will focus on automating storage pool monitoring and production actions using Python and enterprise storage technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Automate storage pool monitoring and production actions

• Develop and maintain Python automation solutions for storage environments

• Support automation across IBM DS8K and VTS storage

• Develop Python automation for z/OS environments

• Collaborate with technical and management teams on production automation initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

10+ years of Python scripting experience – Mandatory

Strong Python automation scripting experience

Hands-on experience with IBM DS8K & VTS Storage

Experience in Python development for storage

Python automation for z/OS

REXX experience

Git & Jenkins knowledge

REXX/JCL programming knowledge – Preferred
