Job Description
Python FastAPI Backend Engineer – API Migration
Location: Indore / Pune / Bengaluru
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days WFO
Openings:
- Junior: 3–6 Years
- Lead: 6–12 Years
Key Skills
- Strong Python + FastAPI backend development.
- Hands-on experience in API migration / modernization / refactoring.
- Nuclio/Iguazio experience is mandatory/preferred. If unavailable, strong API migration experience must be clearly demonstrated on the resume.
- Experience migrating existing APIs/business logic while maintaining API contract and functional parity.
- Microservices, REST APIs, PyTest, SQL/NoSQL.
- Strong Docker + Kubernetes experience.
- Async programming/concurrency in Python.
- Git, CI/CD, debugging and troubleshooting.
Good to Have: Kafka, V3IO, S3/NFS/HDFS, Kong, RBAC/authentication, OpenAPI/Swagger, observability and API performance testing.
Important: Simple REST API development experience will not be sufficient. Resume must clearly demonstrate substantial API migration/modernization work and the candidate's specific contribution.
