Python Developer

Job Title - Python Backend & MLOps Engineer (Django)

Experience - 5 to 7 years

Location - Chennai

1. 
   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and AI/ML platforms using Python, building secure, high-performance services for enterprise environments
2. .Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Django, while designing, optimizing, and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using ETL/ELT, Airflow, Denodo, CFT, APIs, and PostgreSQL, ensuring data quality, governance, and low-latency processing
3. .Build and manage MLOps solutions including model packaging, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management for production AI/ML applications
4. .Develop and maintain Python environments using uv, pip, mamba, and micromamba, ensuring dependency management, security patching, and version compatibility across development, testing, and production
5. .Implement secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, automated compliance checks, and code quality standards while collaborating with cybersecurity teams to ensure production readiness
6. .Design, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, leveraging Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD for automated build, testing, deployment, rollback, and artifact management
7. .Develop and optimize SQL, Denodo VQL, and PostgreSQL queries, creating logical views, APIs, and virtualized data services to support enterprise AI/ML use cases
8. .Design and maintain scalable Airflow DAGs, task orchestration, custom operators, workflow optimization, and integrations with platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and enterprise data sources
9. .Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues using advanced logging, debugging, Grafana, ELK/Kibana, and incident management practices to ensure platform reliability and SLA compliance
10. .Collaborate with Data Scientists, DevOps, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to design production-ready AI solutions, supporting LLMs, Agentic AI, real-time processing, and high-volume workloads in an Agile environment
11. .Exposure to Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, model optimization techniques (quantization/pruning), Linux administration, and Bash scripting is highly desirable, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and engineering excellence
12. .Required: Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 6+ years of experience in Python, Django, MLOps, Airflow, Denodo, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively within the Brussels time zone
