Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, problem-solving, and building reliable systems that support business operations and customer-facing applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and APIs
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Work with databases and data processing pipelines
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices
- Assist with deployment, monitoring, and system performance improvements
- Document technical designs and application functionality
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using Python
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Understanding of REST APIs and web services
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript or React
- Experience with data processing, automation, or AI/ML projects
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience working within the telecommunications industry
- Experience collaborating with Java and SQL development teams
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale application environments and cross-functional technical teams
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
