About The Role
Opkey is looking for a
Python Developer at an early stage of their career who is curious, hands-on, and eager to learn. If you enjoy working with data, writing clean Python code, and contributing to intelligent automation solutions, this role is a great opportunity to grow.
You'll work closely with senior engineers and product teams to support data-driven features and backend components that power Opkey's AI-enabled continuous testing platform.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance Python-based scripts and backend components.
- Work with Pandas and NumPy for data processing, analysis, and transformation.
- Support automation and data workflows used in testing and analytics.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Assist in debugging, testing, and improving existing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver outcomes.
- Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies relevant to the role.
Who We're Looking For
- 11.5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Practical experience using Pandas and NumPy.
- Good understanding of Python fundamentals, data structures, and functions.
- Exposure to working with datasets and basic data analysis.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced product environment.
- Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Bonus Points
- Basic knowledge of SQL or databases.
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
- Exposure to APIs, automation, or scripting for real-world use cases.
