Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Python, Django, and Flask
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable applications
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and databases
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
- Perform code reviews and enforce best coding practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing (for senior roles)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with Django and Flask frameworks
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
- Experience with ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy)
- Proficiency in SQL and databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic frontend integration)
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest)
