Responsibilities: We are seeking a proactive and skilled AI-Enabled Python Developer to join our team, focusing on building automation utilities and core backend systems. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience and a proven track record in Python development, along with practical experience in leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI tools to enhance coding quality and accelerate testing processes. This role requires a resource who can both code and perform QA activities.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Assisted Development & Coding:

Write effective, scalable, and maintainable Python code for various projects and automation utilities.

Utilize AI powered authoring tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for rapid prototyping, code generation, optimization, and unit testing.

Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain a high level of code quality.

Develop and maintain core backend systems and APIs using Python.

AI-Enabled Testing and Quality Assurance (QA):

Create and execute automated tests (unit, integration, and system tests).

Apply knowledge of AI tools (like Gemini/Codle) and Prompt Engineering principles to efficiently create and update test cases, aiming for faster testing and increased accuracy in identifying bugs.

Integrate, test, and debug programs to ensure seamless functionality with other services and applications.

Technical Collaboration & Practices:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., designers, product managers) to deliver technical solutions.

Adhere to Agile methodologies and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of professional experience as a Python Developer or Automation Engineer.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong expertise in Python programming.

Familiarity with at least one popular Python framework (e.g., Django, Flask) and data-focused libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).

Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.

Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).

AI/ML Knowledge:

Knowledge of AI/Machine Learning concepts and frameworks.

Demonstrable experience using generative AI/CoPilot tools for coding and testing tasks.

An understanding of prompt design/Prompt Engineering principles is preferred.
