Role Description

Infrabyte Consulting is seeking a logic-driven Python Developer Intern to join our remote engineering team. This role is designed for individuals who have a strong grasp of Python fundamentals and are eager to work on backend systems, automation scripts, and data integration layers. You will contribute to real-world projects, helping us build scalable and efficient solutions for our clients while following industry-standard coding practices.

Primary Responsibilities

* Backend Development: Assist in developing and maintaining server-side logic using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

* Scripting & Automation: Write and optimize Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, data migrations, and system monitoring.

* API Integration: Help build and integrate RESTful APIs to connect internal services with third-party applications.

* Bug Fixing & Testing: Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues. Write unit tests to ensure code reliability and performance.

* Code Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for all developed modules and technical workflows.

Requirements

* Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA in Computer Science or a related technical field.

* Python Proficiency: Strong understanding of Python 3, including data structures, object-oriented programming (OOP), and libraries like Requests or Beautiful Soup.

* Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL and working with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

* Version Control: Familiarity with Git/GitHub for managing code and collaborating with a team.

* Analytical Skills: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to write Pythonic, readable code.
