Python Developer

Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end development of backend services and web applications using Python and Django.

Own technical design and architecture decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Translate requirements into well-structured modules, APIs, and reusable components aligned with coding standards.

Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices in Python/Django development.

Drive engineering excellence by improving code quality, testability, and development workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan deliveries, manage dependencies, and resolve technical risks.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.

Ensure documentation of designs, APIs, and key technical decisions for long-term maintainability.

Additional Responsibilities:

Experience leading modules/teams, including sprint planning support, estimation, and technical ownership.

Strong understanding of RESTful API design patterns and integration practices in Django-based systems.

Exposure to building scalable service architectures and improving system performance through profiling and optimization.

Familiarity with automated testing practices and improving test coverage for Python/Django applications.

Demonstrated ability to influence engineering standards, improve code review culture, and mentor developers effectively. Good to have skills: REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Celery, Redis, Docker
