About The Role
We're looking for a curious and driven Python Developer to join our fast-growing team at Heads
Up For Tails. You'll play a key role in building and evolving our in-house ERP systems that power
everyday business operations from supply chain to customer experience.
In this role, you'll work across the full development lifecycle designing, building, and improving
backend systems, while also exploring opportunities to bring in automation and AI-driven
enhancements. You'll collaborate closely with different teams, ship features quickly, and help us
create scalable, efficient systems as we grow.

experimenting with new technologies (including AI), this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do
- Write clean, readable, and efficient Python code for backend systems
- Assist in building and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Work on improving performance, fixing bugs, and enhancing existing features
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and deliver features
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from the team
- Work with databases (like PostgreSQL) to store and retrieve data
Education, Work Experience & Skills
- 15 years of experience working with Python
- Good understanding of data structures and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with backend development concepts (APIs, databases, etc.)
- Contribute to frontend components where needed using basic JavaScript (primarily
working with OWL framework)
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Exposure to startups or product-based environments is a plus, not mandatory
- Familiarity with Odoo framework and POS customization (owl JS framework) is a plus,
not mandatory
