Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Python Developer specializing in FastAPI with 3+ years of experience. The Python Developer will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. Responsibilities include implementing RESTful endpoints, integrating with databases, writing clean and testable code, and troubleshooting production issues. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, optimize data flows, and integrate third-party services and internal tools. The Python Developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python-based Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in Software Development practices, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and CI/CD workflows.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Hands-on Programming skills with Python and familiarity with asynchronous programming and API integration.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL Databases, including schema design, querying, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools such as Docker is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in AI-driven or startup environments is a plus.
