Python Developer (FastAPI / Flask & System Design)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Python Developer to join our team for a prominent client project with Wipro in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a consistent record of developing robust, scalable, and high-performance applications, with a strong focus on backend frameworks and robust system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Build, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Python.

• API & Microservices: Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI and/or Flask.

• System Design: Apply High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) principles for scalable architectures, distributed systems, caching, messaging, and database design.

• Cloud & DevOps: Design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS (or other major cloud platforms) using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Database Management: Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, implementing query performance optimization techniques.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain high code quality using automated testing frameworks and tools like PyTest, UnitTest, and API testing utilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 4 to 12 years of hands-on experience in core Python backend development.

• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI/Flask, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, and CI/CD.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Core Competencies: Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred / Plus Skills:

• Experience with Data Pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.

• Prior experience or domain knowledge in the Healthcare / Payer industry.
