Job Summary
Enrich Money is looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our development team in Chennai. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and business logic for mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of Python, RESTful services, and database integrations, with a passion for delivering high-performance, scalable solutions in a fintech environment.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Python.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support web and mobile front-end applications.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Work with popular Python frameworks such as Django or Flask for rapid development.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices.
- Manage and interact with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Participate in code reviews, share constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reduce production bugs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems and services.
- Work with tools like Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for version control and deployment automation.
- Document APIs and development processes using tools such as Swagger or Postman.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and offer optimized solutions.
- Integrate and work with third-party APIs and external data sources as required.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Python development and backend engineering.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA/MSC).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Python backend development.
- Proficiency in building API services and data-driven applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployment is a plus.
- Fintech industry experience is an added advantage.
- Candidates with immediate to 1-month notice period preferred.
