About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong backend development expertise to join our growing team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable APIs and backend services, with a strong focus on FastAPI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
- Integrate databases and third-party APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Debug, test, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI (mandatory).
- Experience with REST API development.
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of basic DevOps concepts and deployment processes.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Django or Flask.
- Knowledge of async programming and background tasks.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
