Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with experience in healthcare data standards such as CCDA and FHIR to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data transformation solutions, building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and enabling healthcare data interoperability using cloud-based technologies on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python and SQL.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare data processing and transformation.
- Perform healthcare data conversions such as HL7 FHIR and CCDA FHIR.
- Work with FHIR data stores, APIs, and RESTful services for data integration and interoperability.
- Develop and automate workflows using GCP services.
- Ensure data quality, validation, and compliance with healthcare data standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and healthcare domain experts.
- Implement version control and deployment processes using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Good understanding of healthcare interoperability standards:
- CCDA
- FHIR
- Experience in healthcare data transformation and integration.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with workflow automation and cloud-based data processing.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of HL7 messaging standards.
- Experience working with healthcare or clinical data systems.
- Exposure to healthcare compliance and data governance practices.
