Python Developer - Azure & Devops Focus

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-native services.

Leverage Microsoft Azure components such as:

• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Function Apps
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Storage Accounts
• API Management (APIM)
• Work with MongoDB for data modeling, indexing, and integration with applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code following best practices.
• Perform unit, integration, and automated testing (eg, using pytest, unittest, or tox).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Python development experience, with strong knowledge of core Python concepts (OOP, decorators, generators, async/threading).
• Experience with at least one major Python web framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

• Azure Logic Apps
• Function Apps
• Service Bus
• Storage Accounts
• API Management (APIM)
• Proven experience working with MongoDB in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance (preferably Azure DevOps, but also Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (eg, Terraform, ARM templates).
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
• Experience with security and compliance in cloud environments.
