Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

•           Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.

•           Build and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and/or Django.

•           Develop scalable microservices and integrate with internal and external systems.

•           Work with Business Analysts and design teams to understand requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.

•           Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

•           Participate in peer code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.

•           Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.

•           Work with support and professional services teams to resolve customer-reported issues.

•           Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring processes.

•           Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications:

•           BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA / MS with a good academic record.

•           4–5 years of hands-on experience in Python application development.

•           Strong understanding of Core Python, Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, collections, exception handling, and multithreading/concurrency.

•           Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, Django REST Framework, or similar Python web frameworks.

•           Strong experience in designing and developing REST APIs.

•           Experience with XML, JSON, API integrations, and web services. Exposure to SOAP services is an added advantage.

•           Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager.

•           Good SQL skills with experience in databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

•           Experience with ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

•           Knowledge of microservices architecture, API security, authentication, authorization, and JWT/OAuth concepts.

•           Experience with Git, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar CI/CD tools.

•           Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or unit test.
