Location: Bengaluru/Pune/Hyderabad/Chennai
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Python programming and SQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, good database knowledge, and the ability to work independently on complex technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python.
- Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable Python code.
- Write complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, subqueries, and CTEs.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Troubleshoot application and database-related issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance and SQL queries.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write unit tests and ensure code quality and reliability.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of hands-on development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, data structures, and exception handling.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and performing query optimization.
- Good understanding of database design, indexing, transactions, and normalization.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
