Description
We are seeking a Python Data Quality Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data through the development and implementation of data quality standards and metrics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data quality metrics and standards for Python applications.
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues in existing data pipelines and systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Automate data quality checks and validations using Python scripts and tools.
- Document data quality processes and results for continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in data engineering or data quality roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
- Experience with data validation frameworks and libraries such as Great Expectations or Deequ.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
