Python Data Engineer

We're helping one of the biggest debt consulting companies in the US expand their IT team. If you get selected, you will be directly working with them.

General Requirements

- Min 2 years of full-time experience

- Comfortable with at least 3-4 hours overlap with PST timings (i.e. working hours 2pm to 1am IST)

- Budget Range: $600-$2000/mo

Technical Requirements

• Python Data Developer focused on data processing & automation (high priority role)
• Work extensively with DataFrames and vectorized operations (performance-focused data handling)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and automations, with strong focus on monitoring & reliability
• Implement pipeline and data quality monitoring e.g., detect incorrect or random updates to key fields (enrollment, finance, dates, graduation parameters, etc.)
• One of the initial tasks: migrate workloads from Pandas to Polars and optimize for non-RAMbound processing
