Description
We are seeking a skilled Python Data Engineer with expertise in FastAPI, AWS, and Terraform to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in building data pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and secure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and FastAPI.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for data solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and integrity.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-15 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with FastAPI framework.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and RDS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
