Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Manager with strong Python programming expertise and extensive experience in data engineering. This role involves supporting data preparation, curation, ingestion, and processing activities, with a particular focus on image data processing, specifically DICOM. The ideal candidate should be a proactive problem solver with a collaborative mindset, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data preparation, curation, and ingestion processes.
- Perform pre-processing and post-processing activities on large-scale datasets.
- Handle image data processing, particularly in DICOM (Medical Imaging).
- Optimize and automate data pipelines for improved efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accessibility.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Data Engineering: 7+ years (extensive usage).
- Python (Big Data Programming): 7+ years (extensive usage).
- DICOM (Medical Imaging): 6+ years (extensive usage).
Optional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
- AWS (Cloud Providers): 4+ years (extensive usage).
- Life Sciences: 5+ years (extensive usage).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in data engineering and management.
- Strong expertise in Python programming for big data applications.
- Hands-on experience with DICOM and medical imaging data processing.
- Familiarity with AWS and life sciences is a plus.
