Salary Range:

• 3–4 years of experience: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
• 4–5 years of experience: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable backend applications using Python and Django. The candidate should have strong knowledge of REST API development, databases, authentication, debugging, and backend performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Python and Django.
• Design and develop REST APIs using Django REST Framework or Django Ninja.
• Implement CRUD operations, business logic, validations, authentication, and authorization.
• Design and maintain databases using PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Work with Django ORM, relationships, migrations, transactions, and database constraints.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Implement JWT/token-based authentication, role-based access control, and API permissions.
• Debug and resolve backend, API, database, and production issues.
• Implement proper exception handling, logging, and error management.
• Optimize API performance using query optimization, indexing, caching, and efficient database operations.
• Use Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control, branching, merging, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other backend developers to deliver reliable and maintainable applications.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
• Good knowledge of Django ORM.
• Experience with REST API / Django REST Framework / Django Ninja.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Good understanding of SQL and SQL query optimization.
• Experience with JWT and authentication/authorization.
• Knowledge of API security and permissions.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of backend performance optimization and database indexing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis.
• Understanding of deployment and production environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
