What You'll Be Working On
- Building and maintaining backend services using FastAPI.
- Developing REST APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Working with databases and designing efficient data models.
- Building features powered by AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Integrating third-party APIs and backend services.
- Debugging, optimizing, and improving existing systems.
- Collaborating closely with senior engineers to ship production-ready features.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI through personal, college, internship, or freelance projects.
- Experience working with either PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development.
- A genuine interest in AI and LLMs, with basic knowledge of concepts like:
- Prompt engineering
- Using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
- RAG or AI agents (nice to know, not mandatory)
- Someone who's curious, enjoys solving problems, and likes learning new technologies.
Nice to Have
These aren't mandatory, but they'll definitely make your profile stand out:
- Redis
- Kafka or other messaging systems
- Docker
- Celery or background workers
- SQLAlchemy
- Vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
- Experience deploying applications to the cloud
