Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to manage and optimize cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS services, Python scripting, and SQL, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage AWS services including S3, Data Lake, EMR, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Aurora, RDS Postgres, and SageMaker
Develop and modify Python scripts for robust and efficient data ingestion pipelines
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
Maintain accurate documentation for all data ingestion processes and scripts
Liaise with customers, vendors, and BAU teams to resolve data-related queries and issues
Support daily BAU operations, and assist in audit and compliance processes
Use Apache Airflow for orchestrating data workflows

Mandatory Skills:

Python (3+ years hands-on)
AWS Services (S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, etc.)
SQL
Airflow
