Python AWS - Developer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern software development practices and tools, as well as the ability to work effectively in distributed systems environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems.

Design and implement algorithms and data structures to optimize system performance.

Work on distributed systems architecture and ensure effective integration across multiple services.

Utilize APM tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.) to monitor and troubleshoot performance and operational issues.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python (preferred) or other modern structured programming languages.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Engage in continuous testing, source control, build systems, and CI/CD processes.

Perform database design and SQL querying for efficient data management and retrieval.

Manage AWS-based environments and work with Kubernetes to deploy and orchestrate applications in the cloud.

Requirements:

4-7 years of experience in software engineering, with a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.

Proficient in at least one modern structured programming language, with a preference for Python.

Strong experience with APM tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace) for system monitoring and performance optimization.

Proficient with SQL and hands-on experience in database management.

Experience with cloud services (AWS) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

Familiarity with current software development tools and practices, including testing, source control, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently and efficiently.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with additional cloud services and container technologies.

Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
