Python + AWS Cloud Native engineer

A Python/AWS Automation Engineer responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting cloud-based automation solutions, with exposure to insurance/actuarial processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Python-based automation scripts and AWS Lambda functions.

- Work with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch, and SSM.

- Develop and maintain SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server for data validation and process monitoring.

- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and SSM processes.

- Perform application/process monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

- Work with Terraform for deployment activities.

- Use Azure DevOps for repositories, pipelines, and work items.

- Use Git for source-code version control.

- Understand and work with existing automation workflows and technical documentation.
