Python Automation Testing

ob Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium 4+.
• Create and maintain robust automation frameworks using PyTest/Unittest, Page Object Model (POM), and reusable utilities.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze failures, logs, screenshots, and reports.
• Perform web application testing across different browsers using Selenium WebDriver.
• Work with dynamic web elements, frames, windows/tabs, alerts, dropdowns, waits, and JavaScript interactions.
• Implement explicit waits, implicit waits, fluent waits, and synchronization strategies.
• Integrate automation tests with Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines.
• Use Git/GitHub/Bitbucket for source-code management.
• Generate and maintain automation reports using tools such as Allure, HTML reports, or Extent Reports.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar defect-management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, manual testers, and other QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve automation framework stability and execution time.
