Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Tester with strong expertise in mobile testing (Android & iOS) and Python-based automation. The ideal candidate will design and execute comprehensive test plans, ensure high-quality product releases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing across devices.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Use real devices and emulators for cross-platform validation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and tools like PyTest.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
Required Skills
- 48 years of experience in mobile testing (Android & iOS).
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms, UI/UX principles, and device fragmentation.
- Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (TestRail, JIRA, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Python automation and frameworks like PyTest.
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
- Good SQL knowledge for backend validation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent (preferred but optional).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
