Python Automation Tester

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Python Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building automation frameworks, executing automated tests, and ensuring software quality through continuous testing practices. The role involves collaborating with development and QA teams to improve testing efficiency and support faster and reliable product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
• Perform web application test automation using Selenium
• Implement and manage automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with teams to resolve issues
• Continuously improve test frameworks, tools, and automation processes
• Support regression, smoke, and integration testing activities

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Proficiency in Robot Framework for test automation
• Experience with Selenium for web automation
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Good understanding of software testing concepts and QA best practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Knowledge of API testing and automation concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Relevant Experience Preferred

• Hands-on experience in Python-based test automation for web applications.

• Experience building automation frameworks using Robot Framework.

• Experience performing web automation testing using Selenium.

• Experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience executing regression, smoke, and integration automation tests.

• Experience analyzing automation results and reporting defects to development teams.
