Python Automation Tester

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Python Automation Engineer with expertise in Python, Pytest/Robot Framework and modern web automation tools like Selenium or Playwright. The candidate should have experience in building robust automation frameworks and executing end-to-end testing strategies for web applications.

2nd Level – F2F (In-Person Discussion) at Hyderabad Location/Chennai Location/Bengaluru Location.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework or Pytest Framework
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright
• Experience inAPI automation testing
• Experience in CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of logging & test reporting tools
• Version control using Git
• Experience with BDD frameworks is a plus
• Basic understanding of SQL/Database validation
• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus
• Exposure to Docker or containerized testing environments is desirable

Soft & Analytical Skills:

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Strong analytical thinking and test design capability
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to mentor junior QA engineers
• Adaptability to fast-paced agile environments
• Strong ownership and accountability

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Pytest/Robot Framework
• Automate UI testing using Selenium or Playwright
• Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable test scripts
• Perform API testing and validate backend services
• Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze failures, log defects, and track issues
• Optimize test execution time and stability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality delivery
• Contribute to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
