Python automation test lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python
• Create automated test scripts for Web API and backend applications
• Develop and execute functional regression integration and end to end test cases
• Perform API automation using tools such as PyTest Requests Postman or REST Assured Python based alternatives
• Implement UI automation using Selenium WebDriver Playwright or Robot Framework
• Integrate automated test suites into CI CD pipelines using Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or GitLab CI CD
• Analyze test results log defects and collaborate with developers for issue resolution
• Participate in requirement analysis test planning estimations and sprint activities
• Generate automation reports and dashboards for stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and coding standards

• Strong programming experience in Python
• Hands on experience with PyTest Unittest or Robot Framework
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and or Playwright automation
• API testing experience using Requests Library Postman or REST APIs
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC STLC
• Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or Bugzilla
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• CI CD DevOps
• Experience integrating automation scripts into CI CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or GitLab
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test execution
