Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Automation Engineer with strong expertise in
data validation, QA automation, and Python scripting. The selected candidate will design and maintain automated test solutions to ensure
data integrity, quality, and consistency across different systems. This role requires deep understanding of automation frameworks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot data anomalies efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases to ensure data integrity and consistency across diverse data sources.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues.
- Utilize automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit to streamline testing processes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for continuous data quality assurance.
- Recognize, document, and report data quality issues and trends.
- Use issue tracking tools like JIRA to log and manage defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, data engineering, and development teams.
- Continuously enhance automation strategies, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer / QA Engineer with a strong focus on data validation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and API testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, JavaScript, or Shell.
- Solid understanding of data quality principles, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Must-Haves
- Strong background in automation and data validation.
- Expertise in Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
- Strong scripting skills (Python / JavaScript / Shell).
- Good understanding of testing methodologies and data quality practices.
