Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust automation scripts in Python for hardware and software testing.
- Design and implement LabVIEW-based test systems for data acquisition, control, and measurement.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to define and implement test requirements.
- Integrate instruments and equipment (e. g. , oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators) into automated test environments.
- Build and manage automated test frameworks for validation, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and identify root causes of failures.
- Support the development of custom test fixtures and hardware interfaces .
- Document system architectures, test procedures, and user guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 4 +years of professional experience in Python scripting for automation and testing.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW (NI CLAD/CLD certification is a plus).
- Experience in test system integration including DAQ, GPIB, USB, or Ethernet communication.
- Solid understanding of electronics and measurement principles.
- Experience working with NI hardware (e. g. , PXI, cDAQ) is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e. g. , Git).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
