Role Overview

We are seeking a Spark Assist API Technical Support Platform Enablement Engineer to support and scale our enterprise Gen AI platform

Spark Assist API provides secure governed multitenant access to Gen AI capabilities including

Chat Completion APIs

Embedding APIs

Streaming APIs

Tool Function Calling

Spark Calling

RAG

Model governance

This role combines technical troubleshooting developer consultation platform enablement and feature awareness to ensure reliable secure and cost efficient adoption of Spark Assist APIs across engineering teams

This is not a basic support role it is a platform facing engineering position requiring strong API fundamentals and working knowledge of LLM systems

Key Responsibilities

1 API Technical Support L2 L3

• Troubleshoot Spark Assist API integration issues
• Authentication authorization errors
• Token limit exceed rate limiting 429
• Model invocation failures
• Streaming structured output issues
• Timeout performance bottlenecks
• Analyse logs and metrics to determine root cause of failures
• Support production incidents in coordination
• Validate API request response payload

2 Model Usage Configuration Support

• Guide teams in selecting appropriate model configurations based on
• Cost
• Latency
• Context window
• Accuracy needs
• Support configuration of
• Temperature top max tokens
• Retry fallback policies
• Rate limits quotas
• Division based routing enforcement
• Provide best practices for
• Prompt structure
• Context management
• Conversation memory handling
• Token optimization

3 Developer Consultation Enablement

• Conduct onboarding sessions for new API consumers
• Provide
• Integration guides
• Postman collections
• Sample code Python Nodejs Java Net
• Support teams implementing
• RAG workflows
• Embedding pipelines
• Tool function calling integrations
• Review integration architecture for scalability security alignment
• Act as a technical liaison between Product Platform Engineering and consuming teams

4 Knowledge Sharing Feature Awareness

• Maintain up to date API documentation
• Publish release notes feature updates
• Conduct internal demo sessions and best practice workshops
• Gather feedback and contribute to API usability improvements
