Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Python & Power BI Developer with a strong background in
automation and obsolescence management. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in developing scalable data solutions, automating workflows, and handling technology/product obsolescence processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python for data processing and business workflows.
- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for business insights and decision-making.
- Work on end-to-end automation including data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Manage and track obsolescence lifecycle of systems, tools, or components, ensuring timely updates and replacements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Integrate multiple data sources (databases, APIs, cloud platforms) into reporting solutions.
- Monitor performance and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and governance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement automation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Python development and scripting.
- Strong hands-on experience in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling).
- Proven experience in process automation and workflow optimization.
- Experience in obsolescence management (technology, application, or product lifecycle).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Experience working with APIs, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure / AWS cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
