We are looking for an experienced Python AI Developer to join a high-impact AI engineering team supporting SAP SE. This is a production-focused role for engineers who have successfully built and deployed LLM-powered applications to the cloud.

Key Requirements:

Expert-level Python development (FastAPI/Flask, Async Python)

Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic AI frameworks

Strong experience integrating OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs

Experience building and deploying LLM-based applications in cloud environments

REST API design and development expertise

Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry, SAP BTP)

Experience with AI observability, monitoring, and production support

Knowledge of vector databases, semantic search, and AI evaluation/testing

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance agentic AI workflows and orchestration frameworks

• Develop production-grade Python APIs for AI use cases

• Integrate and optimize LLM-powered solutions

• Implement observability, monitoring, and performance tracking

• Improve AI reliability through robust error handling and confidence monitoring

• Support Intelligent Ticket QA, HCSM use cases, and AI platform enhancements

Not Suitable For:

• ABAP Developers

• Traditional SAP Developers

• Java-first Engineers

• Data Scientists without strong software engineering experience
