About the Company
CMA Modular Systems Pvt Ltd is a leading furniture manufacturing and modular solutions company specializing in office furniture, school furniture, and customized modular furniture solutions under the Megan brand. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pytha Furniture Designer who can handle end-to-end furniture design, cutting list generation, and production-ready drawings.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design modular furniture (office, residential, institutional, and customized furniture) using PYTHA software.
- Develop detailed 2D & 3D furniture drawings, shop drawings, and production drawings.
- Prepare accurate cutting lists, BOM (Bill of Materials), and hardware lists for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with the production and factory team for design feasibility and execution.
- Create parametric and customized furniture models as per client requirements.
- Optimize panel cutting, nesting, and material utilization for cost efficiency.
- Generate CNC-ready files and technical documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Modify designs based on site measurements, client feedback, and project requirements.
- Ensure design accuracy, dimensions, and joinery details as per manufacturing standards.
- Maintain design libraries, modules, and standard furniture components.
(Note: PYTHA is widely used in furniture design, woodworking, and manufacturing workflows, including parts lists, technical drawings, and cutting list generation directly from CAD models, making it ideal for production-oriented furniture companies.)
Required Qualifications
- Graduation in Interior Design / Furniture Design / Architecture / Engineering or any relevant field
- Diploma or Certification in Furniture Design / CAD (Preferred)
Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in PYTHA Software (Mandatory)
- Cutting List & BOQ Preparation
- 2D & 3D Furniture Designing
- Shop Drawing & Production Drawing
- CNC & Manufacturing Understanding
- AutoCAD (Preferred)
- SketchUp / 3ds Max (Added Advantage)
- Excel for BOM & Data Management
- Material Knowledge (Plywood, MDF, Laminate, Hardware, Edge Banding)
- Nesting & Panel Optimization
