PYP/MYP Theater

The Shri Ram Academy (TSRA) is a progressive institution situated in Hyderabad's Financial District, combining a global education approach with local cultural warmth. This is a full-time, on-site PYP/MYP Theater role based in Hyderabad. The Theater Educator will design and deliver engaging theater-centric lessons that align with IB curriculum standards. Responsibilities include guiding students in developing acting, directing, and stagecraft skills, fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment, and encouraging self-expression and collaboration. The role also involves organizing and overseeing school theater productions, assessments, and participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

• Experience in Theater Education, including acting, direction, and stage production
• Knowledge of PYP/MYP framework and the IB philosophy
• Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to inspire learners
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in creating an inclusive and diverse classroom environment
• Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field is required
• Prior experience in an IB school environment is a significant advantage
