What Success Looks Like In This Role:
Strategic Pursuit Leadership
- Lead end-to-end pursuit management for strategic IT services opportunities across multiple service lines and geographies.
- Partner with sales leaders to shape opportunities early in the pursuit lifecycle including win strategy development, and client engagement planning.
- Define and drive pursuit strategy, value messaging, and proposal positioning aligned with client business priorities.
- Provide advisory support to sales teams on competitive differentiation, pricing strategy, and proposal structure.
Deal Orchestration & Proposal Leadership
- Own and manage the full pursuit lifecycle including RFI/RFP response strategy, solution development, pricing alignment, proposal creation, and final submission.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams including solution architects, SMEs, finance, legal, delivery, and executive leadership.
- Ensure proposals are client-focused, compliant, compelling, and aligned with corporate governance standards.
- Establish pursuit plans, timelines, and governance checkpoints to ensure on-time and high-quality deliverables.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
- Act as the central point of coordination for pursuit teams, ensuring alignment on objectives, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Facilitate pursuit strategy workshops, solution reviews, and executive deal reviews.
- Influence stakeholders across sales, delivery, finance, and executive leadership to ensure pursuit success.
Governance, Risk & Quality Management
- Ensure proposals adhere to organizational standards, compliance frameworks, and governance processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to solution viability, pricing assumptions, resource constraints, and timelines.
- Maintain the highest standards of proposal quality, messaging clarity, and executive readiness.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Leadership
- Capture lessons learned and best practices from pursuit outcomes to improve future proposal strategies.
- Contribute to the development of proposal assets, reusable content, and pursuit methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in IT services including bid management, pursuit management, presales, program management, or consulting roles.
- Proven experience managing complex IT services proposals and outsourcing opportunities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT services, managed services, cloud, digital transformation, or infrastructure solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional global teams in high-pressure pursuit environments.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
